Smart T-shirt with Attached Fitness Tracker Listed on Xiaomi’s Crowdfunding Platform – PhoneRadar

Recently, Xiaomi started launching its IoT products in the global markets. However, there are several more smart products which are exclusive to the Chinese market. On top of that, there are even more interesting products from other manufacturers which get listed on Xiaomi’s crowdfunding platform. The latest product to get listed on the website is a smart t-shirt from the brand called ZENPH.

It is a sports t-shirt specially designed for runners and comes with SensElast 3D adhesive technology on the back. The t-shirt is made of breathable and quick dry fabric and also has excellent stretch and high elasticity. The reflective logo on the back and front makes it safe for running during nights. Talking about the smart features, there is fitness tracker on the front that is fully integrated into the t-shirt.

It features a heart-rate sensor and gives fitness related information like respiratory rate, distance, duration, and calories burnt. On the connectivity front, the tracker comes with Bluetooth 4.2 for pairing with smartphones. There is also an app for iOS and Android devices and tracker can sync the data real-time when paired with the smartphone. The app also includes several training courses and can even create a custom training plan.

Talking about the battery life, it can last up to 20 hours with one full charge. It can be charged using the MicroUSB 2.0 port. It is available in different sizes ranging from S to XXL. While it will retail for CNY 299 (approx USD 43 / INR 3,000), it is available for only CNY 199 (approx USD 29 / INR 2,000) for the backers of the crowdfunding campaign.
