As any user of the site will have noticed, Runner’s World had a revamp and moved platform (and domain) back in February. Since then, we have been running the event search section of the site on the previous version and this unfortunately has been causing some issues for event organisers. We’ve been working hard to resolve these and after a long period of consultation with our event partner, Eventbrite, about a course of action, we have agreed on the following –

We are to end our ongoing partnership with Eventbrite.

During September we will end our partnership with Eventbrite. This in no way impacts any events currently listed on Eventbrite, they will exist as they have always done.

What does this mean?

If you are an event organiser, you can leave your events as they are, they will appear on the Eventbrite site as they have always done. The basic listing on RW will cease to exist as we have to close the old platform.

If you have one, please replace the registration link on your website with an Eventbrite link. This is found at the bottom of your events Dashboard, under ‘Your Links‘.

For technical support please contact Eventbrite on 0800 009 3881.

We will no longer be taking a commission on race entries that already exist.

New listings

We will be creating a new events listing system soon; we are working towards a more streamlined and comprehensive race directory for organisers and runners alike.
