Bradley Ormesher and Marc Aspland capture the changes made to racecourses across the country to ensure the sport’s safe resumption
Bradley says: The Times was recently given exclusive access to the racecourse at Gosforth Park, Newcastle, before racing’s return in the UK. The course hosts the first meeting post-lockdown and it was interesting to get a first-hand look at the modifications needed to ensure that the sport can resume. It will definitely be a different experience, but it is exciting to get sport moving again. While I was up there, Marc photographed some of his favourite courses at the other end of the country to see how they were getting ready for the big comeback.
Bradley says (main image): The view at Gosforth Park from the beautiful old stand to the parade ring/unsaddling enclosure.
