McClellan Is Top Predictor And First Female Finisher In Weely Pace Race  Los Alamos Reporter

Laura McClellan  was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held on the West end of the Canyon Rim Trail with a 30 second differential from her predicted time and was also the top female finisher on the 3 mile course with a time of 25:30.  Other accurate predictors were: 13 year old William Strother at 33 seconds off; Cliff Stanley recording a 36 second difference; Priscila Rosa at 47 seconds off; and Mark Bjorklund with a 48 second differential.

In the 1 mile distance 11 year old Adrian Medin was the best finisher at 8:46 and 11 year old Morgan Treat was the first female with a time of 10:37.

Paul Geimer was the top finisher in the 3 mile race recording a time of 17:33.

Next week’s race will be held on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at 6:00 PM starting at the Golf Course service road located just after taking a right from the traffic circle at the end of Diamond Drive on to San Ildefonso Road on North Mesa.  1 mile trail and 5K hybrid courses will be available.
